Hi Bondy

If they try to turn with two nuts, try three. Perhaps gently tap the end of the stud to free up the thread without damaging the stud. Try some easing fluid, something like PlusGas overnight. Slide a good fitting ring spanner onto the stud before spending a bit of time ensuring the nuts are done up tight against each other, then carefully try to 'shock' the stud out using the pre-positioned ring spanner. Open ended spanners may slip.

If this doesn't release the studs, you may have to try applying a small amount of heat to the casing - without melting it or setting anything on fire...

Its usually the last one that is most difficult to get out, so do the last one first. :wacko:
