Have noticed that there is now no power to the motor and have traced to black box (is this a thermal switch?) bolted to side of the fan with two yellow ( Alternator I guess) and red black to the fan. It was supplied by moto merlin as the correct one, but nothing like what I have. Does the thermoswitch connect to the regulator/rectifier?
