liv2day
Hi all - We just picked up one of the 12.5" models for our 3 year old after months (and months and months) of searching for a gently used bike. The rear tire is flat and needs a new tube, I know Oset sells 'em on their site, but I was hoping to get one at a local bike shop and not wait for shipping. That said, I don't know what tube to get - there are multiple widths available...12.5 x 1.75, 12.5 x 2.25, 12.5 x 2.5...etc. I know the rim width is 2.4"...not sure which tube to get. Thanks in advance for any help

liv2day
Hi you could take the existing tube along to the local bike shop with you ! I would do that if we had the bike, but it's in transit (previous owner told me the tire was flat). I'm hoping to get a tube to throw in the bike when it arrives so we can get our little guy started asap

pete_scorpa3
First thing to do is pump it up, mine goes flat after about a month. If it deflates quickly, it doesn't take long to remove the wheel and tube, you won't need any specialist tools. Once the tube is out, you can assess the damage, it might only need a patch.
