neilh
so have we decided that thicker grips are better for bigger hands then?
kbtrials
"For me I get no power when holding onto something thin and need to squeeze my hand together constantly. " So how do you manage to pee? Do you get both hands wet? I have no experience holding onto something thin p****** so can't help you out mate. ham2
I can't recommend the domino grips I used some years ago, they were hard, shiny and consequently gave very poor grip for my hands/gloves.I think they came as a kit if you ordered a throttle tube assembly? They didn't have the knurled effect pattern around their full circumference so I couldn't see how they were supposed to be any good if they were deliberately designed that way? This all lead to very bad arm pump. Hebo mid compound (grey?) for me.
baldilocks
Ham they are the cheap domino ones you are referring to. They do a much better one and its slightly thicker than renthal but the end is a different compound as well so you dont need bar ends. I have used them last 2 years and like them. ham2
Ahh,righty ho. You can see how some people (me) create an opinion of a product from using the bottom of the range goods, like someone else on TC says; ''You buy cheap, you buy twice. kbtrials
First training with the domino grips fitted today.... Really happy with the result, suits my hands better and I can relax more in my grip. When I took them out of the box I was a bit skeptic as they are just slightly thicker than your std trials grip and I wasnt sure they'd do the trick. Very grippy, slightly thicker than renthals etc but slightly harder feel due to the dual layer compound. I'm happy! Thanks for the ideas and suggestions! K.
