bondy Posted August 4, 2012 Report Share Posted August 4, 2012 hi all am just about to start a rebuild on a 199A engin dose anybody know is there 1 or 2 main bearings on the right hand crank side? i only ask because the depth of the crank case looks like it taks 2 bearings. also theres a thin metal wire in beded in the crank bearing area with a gap in it any ideas? this is on the same side. i got 7 bearings from bultaco uk this is a full set theres 2 small lay flat bearings 4 big bearings and 1 medium size bearing. i know where all the bearings go i just want to know why have i got one left over?
