majesty320
Hi Im starting the rebuild of my 240 and have done a really stupid thing, I stripped the bike last winter and put everything to one side really carefully. Ive put it all away that well that I cant find the book that I wrote offset measurement for the wheels-Hubs DOH!. Is there anyone out there that can help as I cant get the wheels rebuilt without this, and the bike wont be very good without them. Thanks in advance Mark
grib
I would suggest putting the rear hub in the swinging arm with the spacers, and putting a straight edge on the machined surface the sprocket sits on, then measure from that to the centre of the swinging arm pivot. Do a similar thing at the front measuring from a suitable datum to the centre of the bottom yoke.
b40rt
Old spokes will also give an approximate position.
