mud muncher Posted August 19, 2012 Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 hi guys i have jumped ship from a beta and got myself a clean 09 sy250f what a machine it is and im really pleased!!!!!!!!! done an oil and filter change straight away.... my freind who is on a 4rt has to drain his oil from 2 sumps and fill new oil up both sides of engine i have not came accross this on the scorpa and im worried i am missing something as i just drained all of my oil outta one drain plug and filled up to level on sight gauge after replacing filter... i am aware that it is a yamaha wr engine in these bikes and have watched a couple of vids on oil replacement on them and it looks way different procedure than what i did on my trials motor.... can anyone shed any light on this for me user manual just states REMOVE OIL DRIAN PLUG AND REPLACE OIL TO LEVEL ON SIGHT GUAGE the yamaha wr vid shows drain plug in slightly different position and bash plate off and oil strainer mabobys and different bits and al that lol thanks for reading your help will b very gratefull thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
