gsg123
After flushing and bleeding the clutch line on my 07 SY250 the slave unit leaks from between the crush washer on the brake line and the slave itself. First we tried replacing the crappy original (alloy?) silver crush washers with new copper crush washers but the leak persisted. We've since tried smoothing the end of the clutch slave body where it contacts the washer with emery paper but it's made no difference. It leaks very slowly without clutch lever pressure and leaks a drip or 2 each time the clutch lever is pulled. Even tightening the banjo bolt as tight as we dare to really crush the copper washers down makes no difference. Any ideas? Just want to ride the bloody thing already... tazz229
new brake line and banjo in my opinion. If you replaced the washers then either the ends of the brake line are deformed or leaking or the slave its self. and im guessing the cheaper option would be to replace the brake line first. Either that or if ya know a "man" who could poss accurately shave off a thou of an inch on the line end and slave to ensure they're completely flat again maybe? I'm not sure exactly how they would end up deformed in the first place but that's the only logical solution I can think of...
