rabie
we airlifted a bloke at one of our LDT's last year - he fell off on a flat byway (not in a section). all sorts happens but in the scheme of things we hardly get any injuries in trials at all (we run mx and enduro too)
pete_scorpa3
Has any let rider ever had or needed a minder? Do broken legs ever occur on ldt trials? Almost every LDT in which I ride, I see riders who would benefit from a minder as they don't often ride trials and make the easiest sections look hard. And good riders who have a bad day. The potential for injury is present in any event. It is the organisers role to take all reasonable precautions. we airlifted a bloke at one of our LDT's last year - he fell off on a flat byway (not in a section). all sorts happens but in the scheme of things we hardly get any injuries in trials at all (we run mx and enduro too) We had a similar incident a few years ago which very sadly ended up being fatal.
