comerconstructionman
Hi All, I want a bit of advice here for my 10 year old son. He rides a 125 well and wants to compete but was 10 on the 20/4/2012 and born on the 20/4/2002 making him a class C junior according to the ACU handbook. As a Class C junior he can only ride a maximum 80cc bike, only missing the age gap by 3 months. Is this ruling set in stone or can the organisers/chairman of trials events have the final say at their discretion? or will he have to wait until hes 13 to ride a 125... Thanks Nick Edited August 27, 2012 by comerconstructionman
nigel dabster
He can ride out of class for no award at most clubs I'm sure it wouldn't bother most if you are up front. We need bums on seats especially youths. Insurance not so sure, where's John Collins?
sdc
He can ride out of class but must still ride the engine size of his actual class ie an 80. Yes, insurance would be an issue!
fatbastard
If he finds an AMCA club pretty sure he could ride his bike there. Then once old enough move to an ACU club. If he rides a 125 he will be pretty p****d off dropping to an 80cc.
