ty4372 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Share Posted September 1, 2012 i recently fitted a new carb mikuni vm26 to my twin shock can't get it running right. Got it from allens and it was supposed to come with a good setting for my bike. its running way to rich called allens there answer was to sent me another tube were the needle goes into a n6 as supposed to a n8. Its still running rich spoke with someone else who has some knowledge and they told me should have changed the main jet first ,its a 125 in it already anyone out there with any ideas? and what size of jet i should change it too? guy53 Posted September 2, 2012 Report Share Posted September 2, 2012 Does it pull from idle and than get's rough or is it rich right from idle, also check if the carb is clean, I bought the same carb and had the same problem to find a piece of plastic providing the choke to close correctly.
