srap Posted September 6, 2012 Report Share Posted September 6, 2012 Have previously posted a topic asking about the possible setup for a Mikuni carb. fitted to a 1982 Montesa Cota 349. On further investigation I am more confused than ever! It seems that the original spec for this carb. would have included a 5F21 needle and a 2.0 slide. The setup on my bike has a 5F3 needle with a 2.5 slide. Has anyone the knowhow to tell me what the effect of this change will have to the fuelling on my Montesa? All help much appreciated.
