My friend has just got this, we are going to give it the quick once over and service. Is there tips or trick for this bike to look for our any mods that need doing. I can only find the 09 manual online, don't think there should be much difference in it? On valve clearances, 15" ex and 10"in and a 10-50 weight engine oil? Will give oil filter a clean also. Oh, how do you know if you have correct cam chain tension, is there a knack to doing it right. Sorry for all the questions... Thanks Gavin. copemech Posted September 20, 2012 Report Share Posted September 20, 2012 (edited) The guide on the Sherco site states 0.10mm intake clearance and 0.15mm exhaust, (Note not in .001 in. increments) Very close clearances. No idea about the tensioner. I would presume it is a spring loaded device, possibly with a lock down bolt?
