telecat
MY Son's 2011 pro 300 has just had a set of new plates fitted. They aren't as snappy as the old ones when the bike was new and seem to slip a bit before they bite which given his style is a bit disconcerting. Anybody had them fitted and how long before they "bed in".
baldilocks
should be right straight away, cant see they will slip less with wear did you measure the pack ?
telecat
Had them fitted. If they are not right after practice today I'll take the bike back in.

tankygsy
Was it a DP clutch? Mine slipped like nobodys business regardless of what oil i put in it. I only fitted it as a matter of course as i had just rebuilt my motor so I went back to my old set of clutch plates and refitted my old one - it's ok now and the plates are thinner! That was with a direct swap with no changes (from new clutch to old clutch). I'm need to source another clutch, perhaps from the likes of Barnett etc.. telecat
Not Sure which ones but even after a couple of weeks the clutch is still slipping. Seems to be a thing with this type of clutch replacements are not that fantastic.
tankygsy
I agree fully. Apico do a clutch, I'm going to order one later today. I'll report my conclusions....
