fatbastard
After washing your bike what do you spray it with to repel water and make it look gleaming. I used to always use WD40 but was told its bad for the bikes so use a silicone spray but the stuff we use is expensive . Any top tips ? . godzilla
I use Duck oil, a 5l can has lasted years and is only half used, spray on and wipe off excess.
rij
Halfords own silicone spray is good seems to put a film on which stays shiny for longer than more expensive ones Rich

neilh
wd40 will get under the stickers and transfers eventually and lift them off.
2stroke4stroke
The cheapest furniture polish you can find - it needs to be rubbed though to give the shine.

breagh
FB,Slick, get's a spray from Asda and he say's it cheap as chips. As you know his bike's always mint,he'll be at the presentation on Sat so you'll see him there. WD40,might work but you'll breath it in and absorb it through your skin, not nice stuff. (Hear it's called Flashdash, just a silicon spray£2.99 at B&Ms) Edited September 28, 2012 by breagh
fatbastard
That would be good if there is a cheaper alternative using Comma just now but it's
tazz229
Always used WD40 on all of my bikes. Would be interested in a cheaper alternative though if there was something as good.

madmostin
Talking of BS products. Auto glym ultra deep shine polish is great on dull plastics and puts the shine back on graphics. It won't perform miracles but I'm happy with it.
