laser1
Sounds like you plugged the carb vents when you "fixed" the hose. Put the old tube with a hole (vent) back on!
sting32
I put a head spacer in, it's been fine since then, maybe I trapped the o rings? The cooling fan is working fine, I put a new jitsie air filter in- straight swap surely? I noticed the pipe that goes from one side of the Carb round to the other side had a big hole in it so I swapped it. Ever since that it's flooded? I've got a new NGK plug in it that head spacer means you have 4 o'rings to deal with, double the chance to fail to get it assembled without pinching one of the o'rings. that vent tube you had, has to have the hole in the bottom, it was just a trick to use "one" hose to both sides, with hole in bottom to vent, as if it were 2 separate hoses... lee99780
FIXED IT! It was the pipe on the carb, I thought I was fixing a fault by replacing it but I was just making one. Next time if it's not broke don't fix it! Lesson learnt, Cheers all for all your help.
