shercoben12
hi were going to an extremely wet trial tomorrow and my dad has two bikes -sherco 290 2006 and a 270 gas gas 1998 which should he take? the sherco has an irc tyre with good edges the gas gas was not used for 8 years and the tyres were pumped up to 30 psi so its still quite hard even whith no air but its getting softer as we keep riding it. again has good edges so which would give most grip. there are no rocks just mud the sherco is not very smooth the gasser is easy though please answer soon as trial tommoz thanks ben

canada280i
in an effort to be as helpful as godzilla, I am going to suggest you leave both of them in the shed and buy an Ossa and take it instead!
tony27
The sherco, my memory of the 90s model 270 gassers were of them being a handful. Suspension & tyres on the sherco will be better as well than old tech shocks & hard tyre on the gasser
