jj65 Posted November 5, 2012 Report Share Posted November 5, 2012 Forgive me for suggesting this, (it could Be a possiblillity, I'm no expert and I'm sure you know what your doing) but when you adjusted the valve clearances, did you turn the crank to the T mark and adjust the valve that was loose (wiggle it to make sure it was the open one), as you could have been 180 degrees out. I'm sure someone with far more knowledge, maybe able tdispel this suggestion (and confirm I'm talking b#####ks ;0)) Hope you get to the bottom of it with the minimum expense. bikerdude2006fr Posted November 5, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 5, 2012 Yeah I made sure I was definatly on TDC ( finger in the spark plug hole and feeling for air blowing) (and a screwdriver in the spark plug hole to make sure the piston was all the way up) and then made sure that the rockers had "play" in them before setting the gaps....
