In general ATF is too light for trial bike hearboxes - I know people use it but that does not mean it is right. ATF is about SAE 10 Most gerboxes need a SAE 20 or 40 when hot so use something like 10w40 or 20w-40 or a proper gear oil as recommended by Putoline.
