jdaugherty33
Total trials newb here in TN. I bought a Gas Gas TXT Pro 300 a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. But I just lost the bolt the holds the brake pedal to the inner frame and I can't find anywhere online to buy one. I can't even find a place with a parts diagram. Where can I buy parts? Thanks in advance.
mr neutron
For a parts fiche manual, go to www.trialspartsusa.com , and click on "MANUALS" button up by the top, in the blue box with white letters. After you get to the manuals page, just scroll down until you find the year & model you're after. I went ahead & downloaded the thing to my computer, in a file on my desktop, so I always have it handy. Ryan Young products ( www.rypusa.com ) will be one source of parts near to you. I think you can buy from the trials parts link with the parts manuals I linked you to above. But honestly, one of the best guys I've dealt with yet is Stu at Jack's Cycles up in Maine. He's fantastic to do biz with. Adrian at www.lewisportusa.com is really good as well. Oh yeah..... Mike at The Tryals Shop ( http://www.tryalsshop.com/ is first rate as well. I'd think anyone of these places would help ya out for parts. I think there's a member here from Muskogee, OK (JSE) that would help out as well. His advice here has helped me out a lot of times, without him even knowing that...... Jimmie

jdaugherty33
Thanks - I guess it's different than the dirtbike world where I can order everything online. I'll need to get used to this "phone" thing - I think I remember how to use it...
laser1
I know it seems a bit out dated, but those phone calls impart alot more knowledge than a online cart and can come through in a pinch as well! Welcome to the sport!
sting32
Jdaugherty, You need to get yourself aquainted with Gas Gas in general, Gas Gas.com is the USA's importer website, on that site they have all kinds of information from a dealer list to used bikes, and tech tips. Then find your local club and each club usually has a "parts" guy, not all but most do. there are many dealers but it is nOT like a big5 dirtbike dealership where they own a building and employ tens of people, most are mom& pop places, for any brand. laser gave you good information, mine is just followup. Plus there are video's on youtube for how to do it, that originally were created by the importer of Gas Gas to the usa & Trials Parts USA's Jim Snell (parts importer for all Gas Gas) that were given in VHS and more recently as DVD to all who bought a newley imported Gas Gas trials bike in the USA. videos are linked here I think plus back at Gas Gas.com via trialspartsusa pages... http://www.youtube.com/user/GASGASinfo you can order online "ish" aka email and sending a check, to so many dealers, but over the phone is better, usually you or they can ask a question saving you refunding the wrong parts & shipping hassles.
