I think the spectator involvement is a very good point; the more that see, the more chance we have of getting a few more newbies. The more spectators, the less unlikely it is that the tv people will ignore it (see the excellent S4C coverage last week). Just because trials has 'Never been about spectators' doesn't mean it WILL never be, and who is to say that is correct. Still, the same question remains; how do we pay for all this?
