Hi hope someone can help with a couple of tlr200 problems. The back sprocket on mine has become very loose. I've been told that if you fix them solid the hub can brake. What is the best method of a repair/better fixing? Also is it n easy job to repace the camchain? Do you have to strip the engine?

I have fixed the rear sprocket, solid with no problems. The cam chain can be replaced easily with the engine in the frame. The cylinder head does not even need to be removed. The cover on the top left side of the engine over the camshaft is removed and the chain is replaced through there. You should buy a shop manual to do the job, as the cam has to be timed correctly to the crank. Aftermarket cam chains such as DID or Tsubaki are cheaper than the Honda oem part and from my experience much stronger, longer wearing.

Bushings are still available from Honda. They were something like $10 each and not that easy to install. The bushings had a split steel sleeve on the ID and OD. I used a hole saw to cut out most of the bush and then pried out the outer sleeve.

Thanks for the replies. When I took the wheel out I found that the rubber "cush" drives has completely failed! I cut the remaining rubber out then cleaned up with emery cloth leaving the outter sleave of the bush in place. I then made up some alloy plugs 20MM OD 20MM Long with an M10 thread through. I loctited these in place with 648, no more circlip just bolted on with M10X25 socket cap heads. Did a trial on Sunday all seems OK.
