leggins42
hi I have recently developed what I believe to be stator problems ( no spark after bike died). My question is after removing the flywheel and stator plate where do i disconnect from the wiring ? I am planning on sending to west county windings for testing or rebuild. cheers. p.s bike is a beta evo 250t 2010
magicmat
if its anything like my old Gas Gas, (which is the last one i took off) the loom went from the stator all the way up to the headstock where all the wires bunch up. Bit of a hassle to strip im afriad
ponikipo
Which Flywheel puller is needed for Beta Rev 3 270 (2007) M30×1,5 or M27×1,0, thaks a lot.
pindie
My 2007 Rev 3 200 needed an M30 x 1.5. All the wires linked into the loom up in the headstock. I had to loosen the radiator and front frame rails etc to make it easy. The bonus bit is that you get the chance to clean everything, change the coolant and you get a lovely stator back from those great chaps at WCW. I also ditched the flywheel weight and it improves the bike no end. Once repaired its worth taking off the stator cover after washing and leav of till your next ride - they rot from the inside out so you don't see anything obvoius until it goes kaput.
