woody
Thanks for that Mark - the old card and tape method eh... effective isn't it, I've made a couple of airboxes like that. I'm glad you said there is nothing in it as I want to have a go at making one for mine and it is easier if there are no internals. The one fitted to the bike is quite neat but it is steel and I'd like an alloy one. Must get it running first though...
g4321
philippe delwiche used to do the the 250 conversionalso a monoshock conversion, with tank/seat rtl-style another option was a longer 6th gear (30T) Was this similar to the Gollner Mono TLR's? mcman56
Thanks for the instruction copy. I wonder if it used gears from another Honda model? The quality of the instructions suggest to me that it was not a custom gear manufacturer. (although 20 years ago instructions were not so pretty) A wider range transmission would sure be nice. dirtrider
I've followed the engine conversion thread with some interest since I've been told that my Seeley has a 250 conversion. Until reading this I knew nothing of the Kondo conversion, and assumed that what I'd got was some one-off possible bodge job special. However, looking at the pic that RS posted I can see that my engine looks exactly the same and might therefore be a Kondo converted engine. It certainly has plenty of grunt But, who are or were Kondo? Any further info would be very much appreciated. And who is Phillipe Delwiche?
