duffers
Not new but a 2007 model that looks new, never been used in a trial and not even got the scatches you would expect after minimal use. Pick it up on saturday and will be out on it sunday, can't wait!!

tltel
Today is the day I set fire to my bike, piece of s**t To be fair, you are trying to do a rebuild in reverse, you should have stripped it and done it properly, If its been standing for, i think you said 6 years and obviously badly abused when it was working, (probably by you) you can hardly blame the bike can you??? I ordered a new sprocket, throttle cable and fuel pipe for my gas gas today. Figured the old throttle cable is nearly 18 years old so i would change it before it broke on me. Never had a DNF due to bike failure yet. TLTEL

Its an old bike that's not worth anything, I don't want to spend £100's on it to realise it needs alot more work and it will end up costing more than I can buy one for. I have been offered a real good TX270 for £650.. I could spend that fixing up mine!
j13me
Also, I was like 14 when I had the bike.. I never worked on it, just rid it how it was when I was given it..
tltel
Don't take it to heart J13me. But don't set fire to it either. Go for the TXT and sell yours on Ebay, its still worth a few hundred quid to someone as it is. At least you can get out and ride. Take video of it so that we all may enjoy the experience with you. That is what this forum is for, to share the trials experience with all of us! j13me
After a day to think about it I have decided I'm going to do as much as I can for as little cost as possible. Hopefully have it running by the weekend unless I get called offshore !

coop650
I put the new rear fender on my bike today. Not sure how I am attaching yet, quick release style or bolts/nuts. It looks great! It makes the tank look like crud now though haha. And I definitely need a nicer front fender now too. Before: After:

coop650
Uh oh, what happened? Preventive maintenance or catastrophic failure? I prefer splitting cases for the first reason haha.
zippy
Does anyone know if the flywheel puller from a 2000 Sherco 290 will fit a 2003 Gas Gas TXT Pro 300?? It is basically the same engine as the 2004 pro
