Does anyone know the idle jet size for this bike? please, I cant get mine to run right without the mixture screw right in even after prelonged attempts of cleaning the jet. Mine has a 25 fitted at present.

Thanks in advance.

According to my mh123/200 manual, the carb spec is as follows :-

Make - Amal 6264/402

Diffuser diameter - 24mm

Main jet - 135

Low speed jet - 20

Gas valve - 3

Sprayer - 106

Needle - 4a (2B1)

Hope this helps

thanks for the info but my bike has the earler MK1.5 carb and your is a MK2 so the jetting will be different,

iam coming up with 38

Well that would answer my question then as the 25 will be way too small. I better check the others too if you know them as Im starting to think this carb may be off another bike. Although it does run very well.

Ok been doing a bit of research and my carb isn't the correct carb unless anyone can tell me otherwise. The carb has 2 screws holding both the top of the slide and the float bowl and looking at the online manuals it should have a top similar to a mk2 and the bowl should be held on with a wire clip.....anyone ?
