vintagemotoworx
I've got a service manual from Can Am and they state on the 280 motor that it is supposed to be .003"- .005" on the piston clearance. I will look later and get the rest of the info. I set mine up at .0025 basically a tight 2 and 1/2". That is on my TL 320.

mudyman
@ b40rt what do you exatly mean with "in box full" and squish ?
b40rt
@ b40rt what do you exatly mean with "in box full" and squish ? "In box" private message box. Squish - distance between piston and cylinder head at tdc. I needed that as I went from 240 to 250cc. If you do have to adjust the squish it can be done on a lathe as it is a centre plug hole. mudyman
@ b40rt Hi Ross no need for me to change the squish (or combustion area) Yes the "In box" was full, its now almost empty
