Hey Cope,

What do you make of this, when I read the papers I thought of you. This is the pistol that I got mixed up with last time we touched on this topic. This is what you called a 'thick' not 'skinny' gun?

It was bulky for my little palm, I think it was made of plastic and had a trigger within a trigger? But at least I could put some holes in the paper with it.

Does your 1911 need to have the slide pulled back first before it's any use to you, like the Browning does?

(I've just re-read my post; B40rt, I've given you a lot of material there for double entendres)

Ummm, well yes, these would both be "fat" guns with 13/17 rounds double stacked in the mag(grip).

Many love the Glock, as it is a functional piece. I do not like them myself. Lack of character, I suppose, in a plastic gun with no exposed hammar. Never had a Browning, as I prefer a Baretta(sexy).

"The Glock has built-in safety catches, and the pistol can be kept fully loaded with a round in the chamber even when it is in the holster." This statement is total bollox, as one can do that with a 1911.

I have recently considered a Sig. They make some nice stuff, and I like little works of art!

I'm testing my memory again, it's been a while but I might get over there this year. I recall the Baretta (92?)was for large people, twas a big grip for big hands and twer heavy...and the sig was reassuringly expensive :o
