garfi
anybody know of any friction plates that have tangs that actyally fit properly in slots in clutch basket. unlike std ones which appear to have nearly 1mm clearance causing the rattle at tickover, which goes once clutch is lifted.spoiling what is otherwise a brilliant bike. technowaldo
they are designed to be like that if they were a really neat fit they would bind and also cause rapid wear of the basket so just ignore the rattle as they all do it
2stroke4stroke
Where's the problem? If it's rattling then at least the plates have freed off!
copemech
Not the clutch rattling. The primary gears rattle with the engine pulses, when you pull the clutch, this relieves some load, and rattle. They can rattle more using ATF, as it is thinner oil.
