midcitybikesbr Posted February 15, 2013 Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 Stock grips are absurdly large. You can cut them off and slide on some modern MX grips from a motorcycle shop. I like the Galindo F1 road race grip, thinnest grippiest grip IMO. However, I have recently switched to bicycle road racing handlebar tape. I am using the Lizard Skinz DSP 1.8mm race tape. Wrap like a handlebar but cheat it out thinner on the throttle side and overlap it more on the non throttle. This is actually the number one mod that all oset owners should do, MC grips at least if not the bar tape. I'll try to post pics later, might video me wrapping a throttle next time i do one.
