west1700
I have recently purchased a 1974 Yamaha TY 250 in quite good nick but requiring some TLC amongst the things to be addressed is the rubber hose between the standard air filter and the carburettor is missing ( part number 4341 4453 0000) and unfortunately no longer available. Has anyone got any experience of using an aftermarket Air filter set up or has any suggestions for an alternative pipe? I would appreciate any help or comments
tony27
They show up on us ebay quite often, you have to buy it fitted to an airbox though
stork955
G'day, A bottom radiator hose from an early Toyota Landcruiser fits if memory serves me. Try your local car parts place with some dimensions if you cant get a yamaha one. Cheers, Stork

tony27
Could also be worth contacting John Cane at tytrials & seeing if he has any of the reproductions left that he had for sale a year or 2 ago
