shyted
Read quite a few things on this site about the corroding water pump housing . Cut a long story short ,and if you are willing to stop the rot once and for all . Go in the internet and put in camco scientific coatings . They are based in Warrington Cheshire and have loads of solutions to problems . You can have the contact surfaces coated and they'll be no bother ever again . Have had a few things done and they're not cheap but you get what you pay for and the solutions work . Shy .

shyted
Allot less than a new case from Beta , for a piston crown treated with ceramic £65 ,but you wouldn't need anything that harsh so it will be less . When i get to work i'll check it out and let you know . Otherwise check them out . Ok i understand the do it yourself approach but with a good case ,or new case (and cover and indeed the whole unit ) it's a permanent professional fix .
