Looks like a "this is what a sherpa might have looked like by 1985".. http://www.flickr.com/photos/76022002@N08/8506871239/in/photostream

woody
It's a mock up done by a stylist, can't remember which one, he did one of the Ossa Gripper too Also did the Bultaco in red
villiersprodigy
Hi woody dont that bultaco have a canny resemblance to the X-LITE special that Vesty as just built !
woody
I know what you mean yes, but those mock-ups were done 3 to 4 years ago. I think they did use the back end design of his last 340 though and tidied it up a bit. The best thing they did, which is what I always wanted to do but lack the skill, was shorten the tank and move the seat forward. From '75, the Bultaco tanks were always too long. smelling123
Thanks gents, I was at a trial recently where Vesty was riding and his new bike is very nice - sounds very crisp! He's moved the top of the shocks forward like this picture but also moved the bottom forwards too (to the hold thats in the swingarm on 198/199B swingarms). bisby
Hi Dave, just been admiring the bult and the ossa and noticed the ossa`s rear wheel has the sprocket/ brake on the wrong side! Steve.
woody
Yes, I think he went a bit awry with his photoshop as he reversed the front and rear of the bike - the front brake and torque are was on the wrong side too.
bisby
What a long talk arm? and the rear silencer is pos on the other side, does not look to connect. I bet the top of the shocks would be wide just where you stand on the pegs. My shocks almost rub on the tyre so you could not angle them in. Tank seat combo looks good though. b40rt
Interesting bike, fork angle changed ? Bigger stanchions ? Expansion exhaust Hydraulic clutch Swinging arm pivot moved ? Footrests moved Mudguard loop cut Shocks re-positioned Swinging arm lengthened Never noticed it before but tank does look to big Any pictures of the other side please Edited March 1, 2013 by b40rt
trialsrfun
Thank you Sparks2, it would appear to be very like his last Comerfords evolved 340 in many ways. looks to have had a lot of metal added in the footrest area as well.

feetupfun
The tank looks long because the top shock mount and associated frame joint is further forward then standard
