smelling123
Good luck Sam, the cub swing arm you have is what a lot of Bantam guys fit (for rear tyre clearance) so you're off to a good start.

Hi Somehow i don't think it is the wide type as my dads cub and Road bantam both have the same swing arm width and my dad says if you let the tyre down a bit it catches? old trials fanatic
You WILL need a wider swing arm for tyre clearence with a 4.00 x 18 trials tyre. Plus usual mod is to offset the motor to the left and make a corresponding spacer ring to ofset the rear sprocket to maintain chain alignment. bantamsam
Hi How easy is it to just cut it in half and weld it? Cheers Sam
b40rt
The frame will still be the same width, so this might not work.
charlie prescott
Hi Guys. Hi Sam I have made my cub swing arm wider by just heating it and bending it on the Scott Ellis BSA bike. If you take a look at my web site, bsaotter.com. You will be able to read how it is done. Enjoy. Regards Charlie.
