scorpion
hey guys got a new back mudguard , and it's stickers have a backing over them , do you add water to them like you would with transfers to remove it? or do you just peel it off, I tried this at first but it looked like it was pulling the sticker off aswell? any ideas. thanxs
mikeid
Just pull the backing off, the stickers should stay on the fender with no problem. If one should start to peel off the fender, just work it back down onto the fender. Mike
bob
I think that you mean that there are three layers. On the top is a protective layer which is kindof bumpy paper In the middle is the sticker On the bottom is the backing stuff. When you put them on peel off the backing stuff which reveals the sticky side of the sticker, then put the sticker on very carefully, I am not sure about using soapy water, I didn't. Once the sticker is in place then warm it up with a heat gun or hair drier to allow the glue to go soft. Once the sticker has cooled a little then peel off the sticky back papery protective thing and you will be left with a bootiful sticker, full of bubbles if you are like me. You can use your thumb and a hair drier to get bubbles out. Try this page, it is very helpful
