Beta Evo Modification

From Beta UK:

The following photo shows the radiator header tank pipe in a different position to standard. The Evo comes standard with the header tank pipe routed into the sump guard so if you have any cooling problems you get no warning that the bike is overheating. By re routing the header tank pipe as shown in the photo you get a warning as steam would come out meaning that the bike is overheating which normally is due to the radiator cover being full of mud, lack of radiator fluid or simply riding too fast on the road.

Aim it upwards so any excess gets your chin. You'll know about it then.

Seriously though I find trials cooling systems always a worry as they seem just too small.

You could always mount a small expansion tank?

LOL, I have never seen a cooling system failure on an air cooled bike, maybe you are onto something

Watch, "New for 2014, AIR Cooling!!!!"

Can Am used to call it "Rad Free"

TC would be a bit quite though, no how to change impeller's, thermostats, o rings, oil in gearbox, hoses etc
