fistfulloffail
Just trying ATF in the evo and I'm liking the feel of the clutch and gear changes seem even easier (although this may be in my head) but am just concerned about the clutch plates swelling with ATF (Dextron 2) Anyone know if the knew plates are prone to swelling with ATF? Thanks
huski
They are fine with dextron 3,don;t know about dextron
fistfulloffail
Should be ok then as Dex 2 is just lacking in oxidation stability, anti-foam stability and friction modifier additives so I read.
fistfulloffail
Clutch felt great today, just a bit rattly when in neutral or completely disengaged. Is this just due to the ATF being less viscous than 10w 40, therefor clearing the cluch plates faster and more completely than 10w 40? ? Your name is Jessica and is the only word you can spell? Jeeze, as in Jesus Christ, of course that is the answer, In which case, get stretched. It's a genuine question as I am new to trials bikes. Yes, you have sausage fingers and hit the J instead of the Y. You have Spanish / Latin American accent?

Urgh, could be either of the latter I suppose, as I only have two fingers that type, and I am too close to Mexico!
