Hello to all,

Just yesterday I have become a proud owner of 09 4rt repsol.

As we still have some snow outside I still haven't try it.

It is in fare good condition and I am very satisfied with the look.

My last and first trial bike was Scorpa which was from my point of view a grate start bike.

Now after reading some forums I am little afraid that all I have learn will be lost with 4stroke. Have read that is hard bike for learning!

Would help if I could hear some experiances!

One more help I need with maintenance and if there are any other tricks about it. What I should or shouldn't do?

Just going to take some pictures and I will post them this afternoon.

Grate thanks for any comment!

Dino

Hi - welcome to the gang. Try and ride bike using a traditional use of the throttle more than clutch. They don't like the 2 stroke trick of revving the engine and dipping the clutch. Keep you weight on the back and just let it grip and it will.

Keep oil levels good and clean. Clean air filter every ride - apart from that they are bullet proof.

If it has a programmable throttle body check you have a suitable map for your ability and terrain.

Enjoy

Welcome.

Coming from a 315R two-stroke the only thing I had to adjust to was the braking power of the four-stroke engine.

As Jimmy says the fastest way to get used to it, is ride very slow between obstacles not using your clutch, only controlling your speed by throttle and rear brake.

You'll be surprised how slow it will go before stalling.

And have fun with it!
