bondy Posted March 19, 2013 Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 hello theres a small crack in the middel section of my exhaust and is leaking 2 stroke oil when its running with out taking it to be welded is there anything i can use to stop it? As a workaround depending where the leak area is you might put glas fiber cloth underneath the area and wrap wire around. (this "solution" will not last long ...) cvgmmartin Posted March 19, 2013 Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 If it is just a crack you can actually seal it with solder and it will last for a while assuming you don't need the solder to provide any structural strength. old trials fanatic Posted April 3, 2013 Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 If you do have to get it welded it would be best if you do remove from the bike as "electronic" ignition is very easy to damage when any form of electric welding is done.
