trialschris
Hi I’ve recently had a plate welded to the back of my exhaust can due to the rear tyre rubbing through and although it does the job it doesn’t look great (that will teach me for not sorting the snapped bracket out when I first noticed the tyre rubbing ) So I was think of warping the exhaust in a carbon fibre wrap just to make it look a bit better but I a bit unsure whether it work and wouldn't just melt from the heat of the exhaust. So has anyone tried this did it work? And does anyone know if you can get heat resistant carbon fibre wrap Thanks in advance Chris Edited March 26, 2013 by trialschris
greychapel
wrapped mine on last2 bikes (rev 3's) with cheap thin stuff...no problem..it even quietens it down a touch, which I like!
paulmac
I've used Carbon look plastic film on my Pro - no problems and doesn't melt - It does shrink a little over time though. Paul Mac
