anotherfive
I've just got a 2012 300 racing and have been given the mapping switch seperate to the bike. Two questions , firstly does it make any noticable difference and secondly what colour are the wires it plugs into. I'm also assuming it mounts on the handlebars. eazyste
I personally think the switch does make a difference, a lot of people I've spoke are 50/50. To be honest I always leave mine on the wet setting any way. As for the switch itself it actually fastens onto a coolant hose on the right had side. Next to your right knee. I can't quite remember the colours of the wires but they connect to two wires coming directly out your CDI. The connectors are obvious and can only go one way, you'll sus' it as soon as you lift your tank off and look. Let us know how you get on Steve
cursed
I am an intermediate and I can't tell a difference with the switch on my 07 Raga. Maybe an Expert may see a difference, or maybe it's more noticeable on the later bikes but I'm not sure.
anotherfive
Thanks, I've now fitted it back on bike. There is a slight difference in tickover but as yet I have to notice much difference when riding - time will tell.
