Hi All,

I'm an old (70)motorcyclist, still riding my CX650 on a daily basis.

Many years ago, about 1959 I started a Motorcycle apprenticeship with an Auckland (NZ) matchless dealership John Dale Ltd. ,by name.

App. 1960 or there abouts we Had an englishman by the name of Bob Gollner who was a keen trials rider working with us as mechanic. I remember Bob built a "special" while there and used a Villiers motor to power it He was also a very good trials rider..

Reading Classic Motorcycle and your pages I note the same name frequently being mentioned as building trials bikes and owning a motorcycle co by the name of Cheetah motorcycles.

Is "my Bob" the same guy.

The one I knew was a very likable guy always happy. Is this a coincidense?

Regards Dave
