0007 Posted May 29, 2013 Report Share Posted May 29, 2013 FFS had valve ripped off last time was out fitted new tube but couldn't get it to seat so put strap round it and went like crazy with the pump so much so that the bead came off the rim and boom now have no tube. what tube would people recommend for rear std or hd or uhd I think you have a problem there Tires are not supposed to come off the bead when filling with air, might explain why it spun on the rim and tore your valve stem off Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rabie Posted May 29, 2013 Report Share Posted May 29, 2013 a UHD tube (michelin 4mm thick other up to 6mm thick) is over the top for trials. a standard mx reinforced is normally unnecessary. more to do with your fitting technique i'm afraid. sometimes there can be a issue with how the tyre was store/shipped - ie the sidewalls compress, so what i've seen guys do is put a tube in the tyre to get it to normal shape....
