canada280i
I have!...easy job, undo the screw on the waterpump and let the fluid drain out, when it stops draining I leaned my bike over to both sides to get the last bit out, then ran some new fluid through to push out the last of the old stuff, put the screw back in and filled it up. ran the bike for a couple of mins to pump the fluid around and then checked to see if it needed a top up. 5 minute job. jsp
is there products you can use to flush the system out ?
canada280i
I am not sure, there probably is but I would just use some new coolant, it's cheap enough
jsp
don't know jus ordered some putoline ice at £17.99 for 2 litres, I suppose I could just fill it up with water and then drain again
canada280i
2 litres will last you forever so you can probably afford to run a little through until it starts to come out, it shouldnt take luch to flush through, then put the screw back in and fill er up! stou
I just changed the coolant in my 2012 TR280i. When I checked to be sure there was enough coolant, I noticed a grey color and some kind of chunk in it. So I decided to replace it. Here's what I removed. I replace it with Engine Ice!
