stuessenhigh Posted May 29, 2005 Report Share Posted May 29, 2005 I always use 10W fork oil (find it in most bike shops)..the job is pretty easy..but if its your first time, maybe ask a mate to give a hand?? Probably the hardest bit is seating the new fork seals...for this I always use a long piece of plastic tubing that goes over the fork slider, and sits on top of the new seal..then gently tap into place. Its one way of making sure the new seal gets struck, "square" making it sit in properly. Good luck Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
