paynts01
After 5 years of mx i know how critical suspension setting is, sag, rebound etc. Do you still measure sag on a trials bike ?. is rebound better fast or slow ?, is compression better hard or soft ?. Can anyone give me some settings for 10.5 stone rider 69kg. Cheers Andy
0007
Sag is not applicable as its to allow the wheel to drop into a hole at speed and not affect the chassis, we don't have this speed thing Springs are suited max of 180lb rider stock and probably need to be changed for heavier guys and its all feel Ryan Young teaches that you set up the front and rear independently Having said that, it's tough to get setup advice as its completely subjective, some like lively and some don't, you want the back to have some bounce, not completely damped like MX But not too much so it kicks of obstacles
