It also kinda confirms that I pretty much did everything the correct way when I put the new kickstarter idler gear (and other related parts) a few months ago when I had to remove the clutch. Except I left out the special, hollow screw and the special washer...... (No ill effects from that, btw. The clutch slave cylinder & taper on the mainshaft do a nice job of holding the clutch on...). By any chance, would anyone happen to know the thread pitch on that tool used to remove the clutch? I could make one on the lathe at work....
