betarambo Posted July 24, 2013 Report Share Posted July 24, 2013 Odd. The 12" I got a couple of months ago had the pot in the usual spot. You pulled the black plastic rear cover right behind the rear shock and found a hole in the frame with no pot in it? I have never seen or heard of parts missing from the factory but I guess it is possible. Does the bike run full speed? Every bike I have gotten has the pot turned way down so it barely moves. mooky Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2013 I phoned the shop this morning - the potentiometer is confirmed as MIA (its unclear yet as to why its missing). (The bike defaults to WFO when the pot is missing) The shop owner has just sent one of his employees for the 1.5 hour ride to bring me a pot this same morning - cannot fault the customer service from Inta Bikes in Maidestone - big thumbs up for Austin.
