mict
I recently moved the coolant overflow pipe on my 2.9(05) out, running down the front with the raidiator cover, original postion inside was being pinched. Once hot always leaks some coolant from it, especialy while blasting up hill. Fan's working fine & always try keeping the coolant level to norm, about 3cm down from top, but still spits out. Anyone else have this prob. or ideas why and how to sort it. Grateful for any help on this one. Cheers Michael
copemech
You need just enough coolant to cover the plate and channels, any more will go overboard when the coolant gets hot and expands! However, it will find it's own level! Cheers, MC
mict
Ok & thks for the reply, couples of times tried less coolant, but still seems to spit out, will try checking/ adjusting the level once more, don't think it could be anything else? mict
Thanks fellows for your reponse !! Could possibly be just level then, ah... I was wondering about the cab, not taking the pressure, that could be it also, I'll look at changing it. Michael
