dadof2 Posted August 25, 2013 Report Share Posted August 25, 2013 The colour on titanium and steel pipe is dependent on the temperature where they are exposed to oxygen. The colour is an oxide film. Putting it simply the darker the colour the hotter the oxide film was formed at.
